Great value, genuinely well-equipped, and mercifully not packed to the rafters.

What’s it actually like?
Widgets World sounds like one of those rare soft play places that has actually thought about different ages rather than just chucking in a frame and hoping for the best. Reviewers mention a big layout, a baby sensory room, ball pit, under-5s area, book corner, role play, ride-ons and even a bouncy castle, so there’s plenty to keep little ones busy. Parents seem properly pleased with the value here. It’s been praised for cheap entry, free adult admission, and a reasonably priced play-and-eat option with hot or cold meals. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and accommodating, and parties sound like a strong point too, with private hire, tailored buffet food and a manager who will even cut and wrap the cake. The downsides are fairly typical soft play grumbles: music a bit loud, and at least one review mentioned broken toilet locks. It also sounds best for younger children; by late primary age, the appeal drops off a bit. Still, for babies through to about seven, this looks like a very decent bet.

Quick read
Big indoor play centre with a proper mix for babies, toddlers and younger primary children. Sensory room, ball pit, role play, bouncy castle and a decent play-and-eat setup. Excellent value, but the music can be loud and the toilets need a bit of attention.
