TCG Centre Guildford

TCG Centre Guildford is, at heart, a specialist trading card shop rather than a full-blown family attraction. The reviews are overwhelmingly about Pokémon, booster boxes, Japanese and English stock, and One Piece bits, so this is very much for card fans and collectors. What stands out is the staff: multiple reviewers mention friendly, welcoming service and an owner who clearly knows the hobby. Prices are described as good, the shop is well organised, and it sounds like a pleasant place to browse with a child who is properly into cards rather than just vaguely interested. What you do not seem to get here is the usual family-day-out extras: no mention of seating, café, baby facilities, or any kind of play space. It also looks much better suited to older primary children, tweens and teens than toddlers, who would probably be bored after about thirty seconds. In other words: brilliant if your child is obsessed with Pokémon; less useful if you need somewhere to burn off energy or nurse a coffee.
