Saffery Farm

Saffery Farm is a seasonal pumpkin-picking spot in Kent, and that’s very much the point. Reviews suggest a private farm that opens to the public only in the week before Halloween, with fields to pick your own pumpkins or pre-picked boxes if you want the easy route. Families seem to love how well organised it is: there’s an organised car park, wheelbarrows for the field, food and drinks on site, and even purpose-built staging areas for photos. The setting gets repeated praise too, with lovely views and plenty of autumnal atmosphere. It sounds like a properly good-natured, low-stress pumpkin outing, which is rarer than it should be. The drawbacks are mostly what you’d expect from a short seasonal event. It’s not a full farm park with loads of activities, and the reviews don’t mention indoor space, baby facilities or proper seating.
