Oakie Doke’s Playhouse is a children’s soft play venue in Kent, with separate areas for babies, toddlers and older little ones, plus a small role play area. It’s the sort of place families use for a rainy-day outing or a birthday party, rather than a big all-day attraction. The reviews are strong on the bits parents care about: it’s clean, well organised, and the layout means you can keep an eye on the children from your table. Staff sound genuinely helpful, especially for parties, and there’s food and drink on site, including vegan options and the odd decent-looking treat like s’mores pancakes. The snag is parking, which sounds limited enough to be a proper nuisance on busier days. It also won’t wow older children for long, and the play offer is more “solid and sensible” than sprawling or particularly novel. But for toddlers and preschoolers, it looks very good indeed.
