Little Street (Children's Role Play)

Little Street is an indoor children’s role play centre, and by the sounds of it, a pretty good one for younger families. Reviewers mention a large play area, lots of toys, and enough going on to keep two- and three-year-olds happily occupied right to the end of the session. The big plus here is the range: there’s play and learning, a gated space so children can’t make a break for it, and a decent-sized café for the grown-ups. It also seems to work well for birthday parties, with several parents praising the staff for being kind, helpful and supportive. Quieter weekday sessions sound especially appealing if you’d rather not spend your afternoon refereeing a stampede. The downsides are worth knowing. One reviewer found the floor cold, so slippers may be a sensible move. Value looks reasonable rather than amazing, at £13 for one adult and one child, though BLC members get 20% off. Most concerningly, staff feedback is sharply split: some parents found them lovely, while one had a very bad experience and felt the service was rude. In other words, promising for kids, but the adult experience may depend on the day.
