Hiland Play is a compact indoor soft play in East Ham, set inside a mall, with a slide into a ball pit and a small baby area. From the reviews, it’s clearly aimed at younger children rather than big climbers or mixed-age siblings looking for loads to do. On its best days, parents say it’s spotless, colourful and a bit different from the usual drab soft play setup. The staff also get praised for being kind and attentive, which matters more than people admit when you’re trying to survive a kids’ outing. The problem is that several reviewers found it tiny, cold and overpriced, with extra charges for adults and very limited play value. For under-4s especially, it sounds like the sort of place that can be over and done with in half an hour — and not in a good way.
