Great for energetic kids, but the desk chaos and patchy supervision are a proper faff.
The long read worth saving for nap time
What’s it actually like?
Elev8 Broadstairs is a large indoor family play centre with a mix of soft play, trampolines, an air bag area, a bouncy castle, basketball trampolines and arcade games. Reviews also mention party bookings and special sessions such as Gootopia, so it seems set up for both drop-in visits and celebrations. For children, it sounds like a strong all-rounder. Parents mention that it is big, well designed and full of variety, with enough to keep toddlers, preschoolers and primary-school children busy. The interactive staff at sessions and the range of activities are definite wins, and the pizzas and drinks get decent marks too. The niggles are very much the usual indoor-play niggles: not everything is visible from the seating area, some equipment needs supervision, and the arcade has a few broken or poorly calibrated games. One review also paints a grim picture of party-booking admin, so the front desk may be the weak link. Worth a visit, but perhaps not one for your most patient day.
Two-minute orientation
Quick read
Big indoor play venue with trampolines, soft play, bouncy castle, arcade games and party bookings. Best for children who like to bounce, climb and burn off steam; plenty for mixed ages. Food is on site and reasonably priced, but the front-desk organisation can be hit-and-miss.
